    Large files get to 100% UPLOAD then just sit there saying stalled, all large files over 10 Meg do the same thing, other FTP clients I have upload the same files to the same location no problem, below is the transcript, I eventually cancelled the transfer

    227 Entering Passive Mode (193,200,80,112,19,151).
    Making data connection to 193.200.80.112 port 5015
    STOR OmniFocus.ofocus2.zip
    125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.
    Update check skipped at 09/06/2008 13:39 (next check after 14/06/2008 23:48)
    Unsuccessful transfer of OmniFocus.ofocus2.zip (15,140,039/15,140,039 bytes, 4,991 bytes/sec, 50:33 elapsed) stopped at 9/6/08 13:43:35 (error: 2,-128)

    Hi,

    We're sorry you're having problems. We would like to examine your problem in more detail.

    Could you please send a complete transcript of an attempt to upload a large file to

    bb at fetchsoftworks dot com

    and we will take a look and offer some solutions to try.

    Thanks,

    I'm having a very similar problem. I'll be uploading four files, each over 10 MB, and it stalls on the last file. It doesn't stop completely, but it becomes very slow. In fact, the longest I've left it to see if it would ever upload is 48 hours. What's up?

    Hi ezozom,

    If, after the transfer of your first batch of files stalls, you then try to upload a different large file (that was not one of the files in the first batch), does that file upload successfully?

    Thanks,

    im trying to upload some mp3s using fetch. ive been using program for awhile now and havent had any problems. recently, everytime i try uploading an mp3 it stalls. what can i do to prevent this?

    ive tried then using the "resume upload of file"option and it wont work, uploads for a second and then stalls again. starting to get pretty annoying.

    what can i do to resolve this? i have the current updated version.

    Hi jamato,

    If uploads were previously working fine, and now your uploads stall, and then resume upload also stalls, the most likely cause is that you are out of space ("quota") in your account on that server.

    You should try deleting some files you no longer need on the server and see if that helps, or check with the folks who run the server and see if you are near your maximum storage allowance, and if so, see if they will increase it.

    If it does not turn out to be a space problem, let us know and we can try to investigate further.

    Thanks,

    Hi Scott,
    I'll attempt to upload a folder; all may be uploaded without stalling except the last file in the folder. What I've started doing then is quitting Fetch, reconnecting, checking the size of the files and deleting the one that stalled (obvious by the smaller size). I upload the deleted file into the original folder and the transfer is complete. This works for one stalled file.
    Thanks,
    ezozom

    Hi ezozom,

    Thanks for the information. Could you please do the following (or do the following the next time it stalls?):

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Try uploading again.
    * When the transfer stalls, go to the Window menu, and choose Fetch Transcript.
    * Copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and send it in a message to:

    bb at fetchsoftworks dot com

    And we'll take a look and make some further suggestions.

    Thanks,
