I have an IIS 5.0 server, primarily functioning as an ftp server and I occasionally get some complaints from fetch users about their downloads disconnecting in mid download with just a generic "server error" message. My server is running Win2k sp3 and all other latest patches. It has a dedicated IP address (not NAT) and I only hear these complaints from fetch users. When I check the logs on my server these users simply show up as "logging off" when they report these disconnects. They do report that if they log back on and try again it usually works a second time. Is this something you have heard of before, or have any suggestions for? I believe the clients in question are running Fetch 3.x, not sure exactly but it isn't 4.

    Thanks for any help,
    Seth Anderson.

I don't know of a specific problem with Fetch and Win2000 servers. I would recommend that users upgrade to Fetch 4.0.2; if nothing else it offers an improved "Resume Download" feature.

    Thanks,
