Fetch update & taskbar icons disappearing

I updated Fetch today, and all of a sudden the icons in my OSX taskbar are disappearing. There are just empty spots instead. Anyone else getting weird behavior?

Yes, I suppose that would be the succinct way to put it. (I live in the DC area, and am accustomed to a certain long-windedness...clearly).

I was able to fix the issue by deleting the apple plist dock files. If Fetch is already in the dock, does the new version somehow mess something up?

Fetch doesn't do anything special with regard to the Dock, other than updating its Dock icon during transfers, so updating Fetch shouldn't be different from updating any other application. It sounds like the Dock just picked today to go nuts.

Sounds good. It's possible that my computer was having trouble recovering from Cinco de Mayo. Who knows.
