I am trying out the test version -
I made a new folder called "test..."

I uploaded the files that were in a folder on my desktop.

I was not able to "select all" like in the previous version (4.03) of Fetch so now the folder that was on my desktop is inside the "test..." folder.

How do I move the files so that I can get rid of the "intermediate" folder?

Well, I decided to delete the folder and start over again.

This time I selected the files inside the folder on my desktop and did drag and drop and it seemed to work.

But isn't there an easy way to move files from one directory to another?

Yes, you can easily move files from one directory to another. One thing to do is to Command-double click on a folder in the file list. That will open the folder in a separate window (just as it does in the Finder). Then you can drag items between the two windows to move them.

Another option is to choose "Customize Toolbar" from the View menu and add the Parent icon to the toolbar. Then you can move things up a folder level (as you needed to do) by dragging them to the Parent icon.

    Thanks,
