file date discrepency (2 posts)

    Whenever I download a file from my web server the date changes to 6 hours earlier. I upload a file modified at 4:00 pm, then immediately download it and it states a modification date of 10:00am (same day). Is there a place to change this so that my computer and the web server are in sync?

    FYI: If I view the time via Fetch, it reads the file date located on the web server correctly. It seems to change it during download.

    Check to make sure that the time zone is set correctly on your Mac (in the Date and Time control panel). Another possibility is that the server's time zone is set incorrectly.
