Is there some way to specify the upload type to use for a particular file format?

I have many different 'endings' to files (from other peoples cgi scripts), fetch always wants to upload them in binary format when they are actually text files.

There are two ways to make sure those files are uploaded in Text format when the Format menu is set to "Automatic":

    1) Enter their file name suffixes in Suffix Mapping... (in the Customize menu), indicating that they are text files.

    2) Set their Finder type code to "TEXT" using a program like Super Get Info.

    Thanks,
