I used to have no problem downloading files (shn) from various servers. All of a sudden, the files would not finish downloading. They would get to 0 bytes and NEVER finish. I would have to quit, restart Fetch, reconnect to server and then resume. The file would then finish in a second. I checked Fetch's FAQ and found a particular instance when this would possiblly happen and it had something to do with the server software. But this is not the case. I have checked with the server people and they tell me their software is not that particular version. This happens of various servers, not just one. I use a Macintosh, OS 9.22 and used to never have this problem until 3 months ago. I have also tried reinstalling Fetch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you running Fetch 4.0.3? Have you tried closing the transfer window, and then immediately choosing "Resume Download..." from the Remote menu (without quitting Fetch)?

    Thanks,

Yes, I am running 4.03. The transfer window won't close unless I quit Fetch. It is terrible inconvenient to have to do this. I use Fetch to download many files at a time. It was great when they would download and finish file after file. I also have the same problem when I tried using Anarchie.

What happens when you click the window close box (or choose Close from the File menu) while the transfer is spinning its wheels?

Do you recall anything changing in your computer setup or Internet connection around the time when this problem started happening?

    Thanks,
