This problem began last evening on my G4. I am using the new 10.2 operating system... My HTML files are uploading at 0 K - I had to have a friend upload my files from her computer because something really weird is going on with mine.... I was however able to upload a zip file using fetch - which she was able to pull off... This is really strange...The other thing is that yesterday I made tons of changes to the same website and FTP'd everything - it was a peice of cake... I haven't changed my preferences or anything.... HELP!!

Some users have reported this problems after installing Norton Personal Firewall or Norton Internet Security on Mac OS X. Apparently the Norton software sees your uploads as an unauthorized sending of personal information, and blocks them. The workaround is to remove the "NortonPrivacyControl" folder from the StartupItems folder of the Library folder in their home directory; that disables this "privacy control" feature without affecting the rest of the Norton product's features.

    Thanks,
