I have used Fetch for ages, and out of the blue files which I upload to sub-directories won't overwrite when I need to update them or replace them. Even deleting them from the server and re-uploading the htm or html file fresh has no effect. This doesn't happen with binary files (jpgs, gif), only htm and html files. I can't figure it. My sysOp says there's nothing wrong with the server settings. I downloaded another ftp program (one I do NOT want to use) and it overwrote the files perfectly the first time out. Something about how fetch does it is different enough that its not working.

Why would fetch be doing this? I reinstalled fetch fresh three times to be sure there wasn't a corruption and even re-downloaded it to be sure.

    Can anyone help???? Suggest something???

I'm unclear on what exactly is going wrong. Do you mean that when you check the page in a web browser it hasn't changed? That probably means either that the browser is showing you a cached copy (pressing the Refresh button with the Option key pressed may help) or that you uploaded the new page to a different directory than the one containing the old page.

    Thanks,
