    I have my site from Dreamweaver, but my connection through Fetch is not working. The message reads:

    An FTP error occurred- cannot make connection to host.

    Dreamweaver cannot connect because the server is down or not accepting connects.

    I am not sure how to fix this and would love to post my site! If anyone has any ideas please help!

    Hi,

    If you are still experiencing a problem, could you please do the following to help us figure out where the problem might be?

    * Quit Fetch.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Then choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Hi,

    That transcript shows that you are connecting to your own computer (the Macintosh), not a remote server somewhere else on the Internet. Is that what you are trying to do?

    If not, you should contact the folks who run the server you are trying to connect to, and find out what you should be typing in the hostname, username, and password fields.

    Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
