I have no idea if this problem is related to Fetch or to my ownsite/service provider.

I have uploaded a FTP file to my site via Fetch and I can't "get" the file. I have tried dozens of times. The server says "permission denied." Any ideas?

    Thanks - Ryan

The server is saying you don't have permission to read that file. Are you logged in anonymously, or under a username and password?

    Thanks,

    Jim,

After reading the forum, I thought perhaps I had done it anonymously. I tried again using my website login in and password (via Fetch) but to no avail.

Thanks for your reply - Ryan

If you were able to login with your username and password, and still couldn't get that file, I'd ask the server administrator to adjust the file's permissions.

    Thanks,

I'm getting a similar error for a "lostund" folder. Why can't I simply instruct Fetch to skip errors and note these events?

    Hi flowney,

Thanks for the suggestion, we will keep it in mind as we develop future versions of Fetch.

But I'm sorry, there is no way to tell Fetch to do that currently.

What are you trying to do when you run into this problem? If we know more about what you're trying to accomplish, we may be able to suggest a way to avoid the error.

    Thanks,
