FTP server dropped the connection (4 posts)

  I haven't experienced a 'connection to "..." could not be opened etc., before.

  The transcript log is as follows:

  Fetch 5.3.1 (5D226) Intel running on Mac OS X 10.5.6 (9G55) Intel English
  StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1
  Partial serial FETCHEX001-YJP7-EQ4H T
  Connecting to ftp.brittany-ferries.fr port 21 (Mac OS X firewall is allowing connections) (16/4/09 10:47:42)
  Connected to 83.206.26.122 port 21 (16/4/09 10:47:42)
  220 Check Point FireWall-1 Secure FTP server running on redroscoffmod
  ADAT

  do I have a setting incorrect. Any help appreciated.

  Hi,

  I would try the following to see if it fixes the problem:

  * Go to the Fetch menu, and choose Preferences.
  * Click the Obscure tab.
  * Check the "Do not send ADAT probe command" checkbox.

  Try connecting again.
