    Hi,

This is the scenario in which I am passing a message to a B2B gateway(Datapower XI50) from MQFrontside handler. The message from MQ has to be written into a unique file of supplied URL.(Ex:FTP://user:passwd@ipaddress/Folder/)

This above FTP setting is done in Data Power Multiple Protocol gateway.

Following is the error detail from the Data power box and corresponding suggestion.
    ****************************************
Event Code 0x80e000ad - The FTP client cannot write an URL ending in slash.

The FTP client was requested to write an URL ending in a slash ("/"). The FTP Client Properties (of the User Agent) did not include the option to use the "STOU" command to let the FTP server assign a filename when the URL ends in a slash, so the file transfer will fail.

    Suggestion:
Either enable "STOU" if you want the server to assign unique filenames, or find out why the provided URL ends in a slash.

    *****************************************

Please share the solution for this.

    Thank you.

    Vinayak Satapute.

    Hi,

Are you using the Macintosh FTP client Fetch when you receive this error message?

If so, could you please describe exactly what you were doing in Fetch when you received the message?

    Thanks,

    HI,

    FTP Procedure follows this way...

Passing a message from MQ queue(Frond End) ---> B2B Gate Way(Middleware,Data Power Box) ---> Application server's local folder as a unique file(back end application)

I am putting a message to a MQ Queue. This queue is configured in Data power box under Mulitiple Protocol Gateway(MPG in which we set some policy and actions for the incoming message) in which the message received from queue is forwarded to the FTP url. This Ftp is set in Multiple protocol gateway as Back end URL (ftp://user:passwd@10.251.21.150/RAPID/).

Soon after putting the message to queue,When you check the system log details for MPG(Mulitiple Protocol Gateway)
    It has the following info....

    ****************************************************************************************************************

    Hi,

This is a support forum for issues relating to Fetch, the Macintosh FTP client.

As such, I apologize, but we are not familiar with the software and setup you are using, so we do not know what the solution is or have any advice for you.

We recommend that you try asking your question in a more general-purpose FTP discussion forum, or one dedicated to the particlar software that you are using.

    Thanks,
