When I'm accessing directories during FTP, or after uploading a file or directory, the files show up in the window, but the "Getting file list..." message keeps going for some time. Usually, I just hit the "stop" button and then I can work again.

OR after I've uploaded a file, the same thing happens and hitting "stop" works.

When I'm deleting entire directories, this unnecessary delay can become ridiculous.

    Thanks.

PS: I'm using Fetch 4.0.2 with Mac OS 9.2

I also use NetBarrier firewall software, if this might matter.

I would suggest trying it without NetBarrier, to see if that makes a difference. I'd also recommend changing the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" setting in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,
