Getting permission eror (2 posts)

Trying to upload files to a folder give the message that I don't have permission. This is an operation that I have done many times before. Today it doesn't work. It failed just before I upgraded too, but now I can't get to the Preferences.

Here's the transcript for the most simple case of failure.

    Any ideas?

Fetch could not put “AA1 Review Answers.pdf” because you do not have the required permissions to download to your local folder. (Try choosing a different folder from the “Save downloaded files to” menu in the Download pane of the Preferences, or use the Get Info command in the Finder to check the permissions of the local folder.)

    Hi,

It looks like there's an issue with your download folder preference setting. You could try changing the "Save downloaded files to:" setting in the Download section of Fetch Preferences.

If that does not help, could you send me your Fetch.log file? To find it:

    1) Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu
    2) Choose "Show Fetch.log in Finder" from the File menu

    And send it to bugs@fetchsoftworks.com

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews
