So I have the connection setup and I transferred a couple of files into html as requested by my host, readyhosting. How in the world do I get a page to show on my domain? And that's just the beginning ... How do I build from there?

    Thanks!

That's a question that's probably better directed to your service provider, readyhosting. In general you want to name one of your HTML files index.html (or index.htm); that's the page that will appear when visitors come to your site. If you've uploaded your page and it doesn't appear in your browser you should ask readyhosting whether you need to upload to a special directory on the server (examples include "www" and "public_html") and whether your domain name is set up correctly on the service provider's side.

    Thanks,
