    Hi,

The Heartbleed bug is an issue that affects servers, rather than client programs like Fetch. So if you use Fetch to connect using "FTP with TLS/SSL" to a server, there is a chance that the server was and/or is vulnerable to the Heartbleed bug. In that case I would advise contacting the service provider to find out whether they were affected. If they were vulnerable, I would recommend changing your password with that service provider, once they've corrected the Heartbleed vulnerability.

The Heartbleed bug only affects connections over TLS/SSL, so it does not affect plain FTP or SFTP, just FTP with TLS/SSL (which is sometimes called FTPS).

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews
