Hi Julia,
It looks like the second time you tried, Fetch uploaded two files inside the folder before encountering an error. Since you can upload to your own website fine, this probably indicates some sort of problem with the client's server that causes interruptions in the upload.
I would recommend trying our latest version of Fetch, version 5.5.3. It has the ability to detect failed or stalled uploads and resume them automatically - so even if your upload is interrupted unexpectedly, Fetch 5.5.3 will try again and continue uploading until the upload is complete.

I can't upload files to a client's server - however I can upload them just fine when I connect to my own website.
I get the message:
I put two files in, one at a time, and that worked fine. then when i tried to add a folder, it said: Fetch could not put "footer_home.psd" because the FTP server encountered an error accessing a file or folder.
