How can I upload text file wrote in asian languages exactly? (2 posts)

    I'm one Japanese user of Fetch 4.01 for OSX.
    I did upload of some files wrote in japanese (shift-jis) to my homepage serever, but all of japanese caracters were encorded incorrectly...into some kind of the un-human language! How can I use this soft correctly as a japanese?

    You should make sure that the "Translate ISO Characters" box in the Misc section of Preferences is unchecked; otherwise Fetch will convert between the Mac OS Roman character set and ISO Latin-1, and that conversion will corrupt other character sets.
