How do I automate my mirror jobs? (2 posts)

So I have about 20 mirror files that I use to go grab copies of data from my web server and sync them up to my local hard drive. As it is I have to manually execute each file to do that.

I want to automate the process. I want to schedule all 20 mirror scripts to run nightly. I've only been using Mac for under a year and don't know how to do that automation in Mac. It's easy in Windoze, I just create a batch file.

Can someone please tell me how to setup this? Thx.

    Hi,

We have a help topic that has instructions on how to set up automated transfers with iCal; it should help you do what you want. (iCal is a calendar and scheduling application that is part of Mac OS X.)

Please take a look at it, and let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
