how do you create a guest login? (2 posts)

  I store files on my site for others to download. How can I give them access to where the files are stored, without them logging in under my user settings?

  I bet the answer is painfully obvious, but I'm clueless on this one. Thanks for any help.

  Hi,

  In order to set up something like a guest login on your account, you need to talk to your hosting provider - the people who run the server where you store your files - about how and if you can set something like that up on your site.

  Unfortunately, this isn't something Fetch can help you set up; it's all something that's got to be done on the server end.
