how the heck do I enter into a folder ?!?!?! :) (4 posts)

  Hey Fetch Gods,

  I am using fetch 5.1 and cannot figure something out. I connect to an ftp site, and can use the up and down arrows to move up and down in the folder and file lists. but if i am on a folder, and and to go into that folder, i cannot figure out how to do that with the keyboard. I currently have to move my hand from the keyboard and left click the folder with the mouse. I have tried many key combinations, but most seem to block the folder name for renaming, and not tak me into the folder.

  You folks can make my fetch experience much more enjoyable if you can tell me the keyboard command to enter the folders, so that I can keep my hand on the keyboard, and not have to use the mouse.

  Hi webulite,

  The keyboard shortcut to enter a folder is Command-Down Arrow. (And the keyboard shortcut to go back up to the parent folder is Command-Up Arrow.)

  that is it! how could I not have tried that? thank you to the fetch gods! you have made my life much more enjoyable! and what a wonderful short cut it is. I will be sure to thank zeus in my prayers tonight!
