How to create a symlink (2 posts)

I want to create a symbolic link (alias/shortcut) on the server. Does Fetch provide a way to do that.
(I haven't been able to figure out how to do this using Fetch. Didn't see any mention of symlinks in the Help. I searched this board and found info about how Fetch deals with symlinks when uploading or downloading files, but no info about how to create a symlink in the first place.)
If the only way is via an FTP command, it looks like there isn't a command on this server for creating a link:

No, there isn't a standard FTP command to create symlinks, or a widely-supported non-standard command (that I know of).
