how to limit DL speeds? (2 posts)

    is there any way to limit the DL speed from within Fetch? otherwise it just consumes all my DL bandwidth. my only external help would have been Carrafix, but it just doesn't work, so maybe someone knows a good way to solve this. thanks.

    Fetch does not have any built-in bandwidth throttling, but that's a good suggestion.

    This article talks about how to use Carrafix to throttle FTP transfers, but it's fairly tedious (each transfer happens on a different port, so you have to re-do the throttle for each transfer:
