    does any one know how to enable FETCH 4.0.3 to display files beginig with a dot "." like the ".htaccses" file extension. thanks

    The first thing I would do is make sure that the "Omit file names beginning with a period" box is not checked in the Misc section of Preferences. If that isn't the problem I would choose "Send LIST -al to UNIX Servers" from the Obscure Options pop-up in that section of Preferences.
