    hi, i have fetch since many years and now i just bought the new 5.0.5 (i didn't know how to update the old version) anyway, my question is:
    i can connect to all the servers, i haven't have any problems. but i need to connect to a specific server (that i is working fine) and is not letting me... i tryed all i can think of. but probably i'm doing something wrong...
    i had try:
    1- ftp and sftp
    2- in preferences=general=enable and disable the "use passive mode transfers"
    3- in preferences=security= enable and disable theGSSAPI
    my client is connecting directly with her pc to the ftp. so she has no problems...
    i need urgent help... please, thanks

    Hi,

    We're sorry you're having problems.

    Could you make sure you are using these settings:

    * Connect using: FTP
    * Use passive mode transfers is checked
    * In the Preferences Proxy pane, Proxy Type is "none"

    And then try to connect to the problem server.

    If the connection fails, after you get the error, please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them here. We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
