    Hi,

I am wondering where fetch stores temporarily files I beleive it creates when using Fetch with BBEdit to remote edit files on the server.

A very bad command within a piece of code was uploaded that proceeded to delete the very file that contained the code (pointed to the wrong directory).Yes, I know there should be a current backup, but this code was written in the past 24 hours and the previous version, in the back-up has virtually none of the same code.

So if anyone has any ideas where these temphidden files are stored I would be forever happy!

I am running Fetch on Mac OS X 10.1.5 and using BBEdit v6.5.3. As to these temp files, I do believe I came across them when booting into OS 9in the past.

And I could be wrong, it maybe BBEdit that is creating these files. Either way, I can't find them.

    Thanks for any help/suggestions

In my tests on OS X the temp files were created in the directory /tmp/501/Temporary Items -- I believe that 501 is the Unix id for my user account.

The Finder does not show that directory, so you may need to use Terminal to find the file.

    Thanks,
