I work full time, Fetch has only worked part time. (6 posts)

Why does Fetch only send files part of the time? I've tried over and over to send files, some work, some don't, no matter what I do. There is no difference in the files (jpg), or their file names. I know, no spaces and odd characters.
The biggest thing I get is that it says I've reached my quota, even though there have been no files uploaded, and it won't let me upload.
I've checked where I'm sending files to, and there are none, so it can't be a quota issue.
I've tried naming my files something simple like abc.jpg and they still won't work. Yes, I've checked login and password-no problems.
Does anyone know what this could be?

    Thanks-
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

It sounds like it could be server issues, but it's hard to say without more information.

The next time you run into a problem or get an error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the contents of the transcript window, and paste them here? We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Any answers?

    Hi Jim,

I apologize for the delay in responding, I missed your first followup.

The server is returning a 552 error, which usually means "quota exceeded." And there are subfolders in this folder that could have files taking up a lot of space.

However, it's possible this server is reusing that error to mean something else, since you don't think you're over quota. Nevertheless, this does look like it's a server problem, and you should contact the folks who maintain the server and talk to them so they can look into it.

Again, apologies for the delayed response.

    Thanks,

    Hey Scott-
    No problems about any delay.
I appreciate you looking into this. It's got to be a server error, so I'll give them a call tomorrow.

    Thanks for your help,
    Jim
