    Hi Peter,

    Yes, it is possible to ignore files or folders that begin with periods when uploading.

    Here's how:

    * Go to the Fetch menu, and choose Preferences.
    * Click the Obscure tab.
    * Check the "Do not upload dot items in folders" checkbox.

    From then on, Fetch will not upload files or folders that being with periods inside any folders that you upload. Note that this affects all items beginning with periods, so it will also cause .htaccess files to be ignored as well as .svn files. There is currently no way to specify specific names for Fetch to ignore.

    And if you specifically upload just a file beginning with a period - that is, you choose the file itself to upload, instead of a folder containing it - it will still be uploaded.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Thanks a lot!

    I really couldn't find this preference (it's hidden itself a little bit...).

    And thanks for Fetch, couldn't work without i!

    Cheers

    Hi Peter,

    You're welcome!

    Yes, the preference is a little hidden; I've made a note for us to reconsider if that's the best place for it.

    Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

    Thanks,
