I have uploaded changes to my index.htlm web page but FETCH does not seem to update with the new html page content and the date / time of when I uploaded the file does not update. I compile the webpages that I upload using FREEWAY EXPRESS 3.5.12 and use FETCH 4.0.3 to upload. When I view the raw htlm page on my MAC then looks correct so do not think is to do with FREEWAY not saving changes.

Any ideas what may be the issue?

It sounds like the pages might be uploaded to the wrong folder on the server. Could you re-upload your HTML page and then choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents here? Also, could you post the URL of the page on the web? I'll take a look and see what I can figure out.

    Thanks,

I think I have worked out the reason for not capturing html changes (I think is due to a FREEWAY fault in how deals with changes - still trying to understand the reason for this thoughg) BUT when I re-upload a page then the date/time of the last upload for the page is not updated UNTIL I exit the folder level I am in and then re-access the same folder - I feel that the update in the screen should be immediate as looks like to the user that nothing has happend. Is there a technical reason for why update of details is not immediate?

Could you clarify what you mean by "the date/time of the last upload for the page is not updated"? Do you mean the date/time shown in the Date column in Fetch's file list? Or do you mean a date/time that is shown in your web browser when you are viewing the page?

    Thanks,

The date/time for a just-uploaded item should be the date/time when the upload finished. If that is not happening could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents of that window, along with the name of the file that is showing up with an incorrect date and time, and the date and time that is being displayed?

    Thanks,
