When i uploaded my brand-new web page using fetch, i notice that nothing landed the way it was supposed to. for example: I get a headline that says, "Index of / (my page addresshere). Under that headline, there's a "parent directory" link, then every file/folder I transferred from my hard drive.

Am I missing a step to have my web page appear the way I intended it to (with headlines, body and graphics - not just a list of files and folders)?

Using osX and Safari and IE. Built the page with Microsoft Word (a very basic page, just to get something out there). I've also read almost two years of postings on this message board and can't find anyone that described the same problem.

    Thanks. Edwin.

The web server looks for a page named "index.html" to display when someone first comes to your site. So you should give your page that name.
