    Hi,

    We'd like some more information to help figure out what's going on.

    Could you please do the following?

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Try uploading again.
    * If you get an error again, choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

    Hi,

    It sounds like you're single-clicking on the www folder, so that it is selected.

    Instead, try double-clicking on the www folder so that it opens (you will see an empty file list, and the title bar of the Fetch window will end in "www"). Then use the Put command.

    When you Put files with Fetch, it puts them in the currently open folder; the open folder's name is displayed at the end of the window's title bar. So if you only single click on the www folder, it has not opened; Fetch is still trying to put the files in the "root" or "/" folder (the one that contains the www folder), and you may not have permission to put files there. Anyway, you want to put them in the www folder for them to display correctly on the web. So instead open the www folder by double-clicking on it, and then putting the files.

    Let us know if this does not help. Thanks,

    Hi,

    The transcript does not show any HTML files being uploaded. Usually, there is an HTML file for each webpage you have. All the trascript shows being uploaded are some image files, and a file "filelist.xml," which I'm not sure what it is, but I'd guess isn't a webpage.

    I would double-check the files being created by Word when you save the document as HTML, and make sure that you have uploaded all the files that Word created. In particular, I'd look for a file named index.html, which is usually the "start page" for a website.
