Hi. I would like to sinc my new ipad with the existing ftp site for my office, so that I can download and upload database files. The directions from the ap say to input the numeric code into ftp. But, where should you do this? My boss has linked many minis and a laptop to our site and can't figure out where a numeric code would go. Thanks.

    Hi,

We do not have a version of Fetch for the iPad, so if you are trying to use FTP on your iPad, you must be using some other company's app. You should contact that company for assistance.

If we have misunderstood your question, please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Scott,
This would explain our problem. Is there a way to download fetch files to an iPad?
    Thanks, Kit

    Hi Kit,

As I mentioned previously, we do not make a version of Fetch for the iPad. There may be other companies that do make FTP software for downloading files to an iPad. I would recommend that you search the app store for "FTP" and see what you find.

However, working with files on an iPad is quite a bit different from working with files on a Mac and there are limitations to what you can do; you may not be able to accomplish everything you want on an iPad. You should read reviews of the products carefully and if in doubt, contact the companies directly to see if you can do what you want. We do not endorse any particular other app.

    Thanks,
