Mirror upload permissions error due to stats (2 posts)

I'm trying to mirror the /web/ directory of multiple FTP accounts. I'm trying to mirror everything except the /web/stats/ folder due to the fact that the statistics folder is protected by the server.

This folder contains AWStats or Webalizer and has other user/group/permissions than the rest of the /web/ directory.

When trying to mirror I get this (expected) error:

(192.168.2.1 is the target, 192.168.2.210 is the source)

    227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,2,1,201,135)
Making data connection to 192.168.2.1 port 51591
    STOR ctry_usage_201202.png
553 Can't open that file: Permission denied
    Unsuccessful download of ctry_usage_201202.png as binary data (0/3,602 bytes, 0 bytes/sec, 0:00 elapsed) stopped at 2/19/12 (7) 13:20 (error: 2,-30008)
The file “ctry_usage_201202.png” could not be transferred because the server says you do not have the required permissions. (Contact the server administrator if you think you should have permission to take this action.

I've got "skip items you don't have permission to download" enabled and I'm running Fetch 5.7

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Unfortunately there's currently no way to skip items that you don't have permission to upload. I would recommend mirroring each of the folders inside /web/ except for /web/stats/.

I'm sorry that we don't have a better solution at this time.

    Thanks,
