Currently, the only remote backup option that comes with the Mac OS is that .mac application that requires the .mac account.

I have no .mac account for my backups nor do I want to spend 99 dollars per year for that.

What I would like however, is that Fetch expands its mirroring capabilities to take on a new but related application for Fetch. If you could add some backup functions where we could define our remote server (other than a .mac account) that would be very cool.

I'm sure that it would made Fetch more attractive to users who don't have need to synchronize websites to local directories.

    Thanks for all your work!

Thanks for the suggestion. I know that Dantz Retrospect supports backing up to FTP servers, so that might be worth a look.

    Thanks,
