movie files upload problem (2 posts)

Hello, I'm considering buying fetch, but I have one question first: I have lots of movie files to upload, so far I used another client (let's call it "cyberdonald") and I've found out that many of the uploaded movies, though they were the exact same size as their counterpart (down to the last octet) on my HD were not playable. I guess a header was missing at the end of the file.
Would I be safe from that with fetch? I know sometimes uploads fail, and that is quite all right, I just need to know if that is the case.

All thoughts and idea most welcome. I don't know much about ftp and sftp transfer.

I've seen fetch upload nonstop without apparent problem for days at a friend's place, very impressive. I just need to know if fetch will warn me if there is any problem. Probably a silly question, but I'm an anxious person :-D thanks!

    Hi,

Fetch is designed to report an error if it isn't able to upload an entire file. So you should get either a successful transfer, or an error message letting you know that there was a problem. In addition, if there is an error Fetch will automatically try to resume the transfer. It will only give up and report the error if a few retry attempts fail to make any progress.

I would recommend trying Fetch for free for 15 days to see if it meets your needs.

    Thanks,
