Hi,
The most common problem when trying to upload pages created with iWeb is that for your website to work correctly once you upload it, after you publish your website to a folder, you need to upload the contents of the folder - but not the folder itself - to your server.
For example, let's assume your website is called "Family Trip", and when you use "Publish to a Folder," you tell iWeb to put its files in a folder called "My New Website."
Once iWeb is done, in the Finder you will see:
My New Website (folder)
index.html
Family Trip (folder)Inside the "Family Trip" folder will be folders and files corresponding to each page of your website.
For your website to work correctly, you must be sure to upload both that index file, and the website folder - that is, upload the entire contents of the "My New Website" folder, but don't upload the "My New Website" folder itself.
Do not rearrange or rename files before uploading, or your website will stop working.
It may be best to delete the files that you've already uploaded to the server and start fresh before trying again.
We have a help topic on using Fetch to upload websites created with iWeb (click the link to read it) - it has tips and covers a lot of possible problems that you might be running into, and it may be helpful to read it over if you haven't already.
If you're still having problems after looking this over, please let us know and we'll try to figure it out.

I went to my finder...and drug over the website folder from iweb, when it was in the fetch window..I could click on it and see all the contents of my webpage...didnt know what to do after that...so I deleted it and went back to the finder...clicked on the folder of the website in iweb...then drug all the files in the folder to fetch..they all copied...not sure what to do now to actually publish my web page and preview it before it is on the web...

Hi Paul,
Generally, once you've uploaded your web pages to your server, it should be "published" and active, assuming all the files are in the correct place.
If you are still not seeing your webpage content in a web browser (make sure you choose "Reload Page" in the browser before deciding it hasn't shown up), could you please send us the following information:
(1) The address (URL) of your website.
(2) Please do the following:
* Quit Fetch, if it's running.
* Open Fetch again.
* Connect to your server.
* Choose Refresh from the View menu.
* Then choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.Thanks,

* In Fetch, go to the "Window" menu. Choose "Fetch Transcript" from it.
* Choose "Select All" from the "Edit" menu.
* Choose "Copy" from the "Edit" menu.
* Return to the message board, and reply to this message.

Hi,
The problem appears to be that your website files are in the wrong place on the server.
You should:
* Connect to the server.
* Delete the paulmatty.com folder on the server.
* On your Macintosh, find the paulmatty.com folder.
* Open the paulmatty.com folder on your Macintosh.
* Drag the files and folders inside the paulmatty.com folder to the Fetch window.This should make your website work.

1an1.com is my host, I installed fetch and I am trying to upload the webpage I made on a mac in i-web. I am not sure how to use fetch...cant seem to retireve my webpage file correctly to upload, then I would like to preview if possible before I publish it...
1and1.com tells me BEFORE i buy thier products that it is completely compatable with i-web, then it is not, thier techs tell me to install fetch or cute and it will be fixed...then they cant help me learnig fetch..cute does not execute on my mac...tried it twice...
ANY IDEAS???...and F' 1an1.com!
