Hi, My name is Wai Har. I purchased Fetch in 2008 and have been using it since then. Recently, my Mac G5 tower computer break up and I was using a laptop to work. I was trying to use the Fetch in the Laptop, however, when I open the Fetch, I have the message said "Fetch" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
I wish I can use the same serial number I paid because I thought I can use it on more than two computers.

My question is if I purchased the new Fetch and download on my Laptop, can I use it on my another computer using the same serial number?

Please give advise to me! Your expertise will very much appreciated.

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,

Yes, you can use the same serial number.

You are getting this message because your copy of Fetch was developed before Apple introduced the concept of "identified developers." In order to open that version of Fetch on a newer version of Mac OS you should:

    1) Control-click on the Fetch icon
    2) Choose the Open command
    3) Click the Open button

Once you have done this you will be able to open Fetch normally on that computer.

    Thanks,
