I too can't seem to make the connection.

I am trying to update my church's website located behind a firewall.

I am using MacSSH and its ftp tunnel to make the initial connection via AOL dial up. No problems.

When I try to direct Fetch to the tunnel, I get the infamous connection lost message.

My Transaction message is extremely short --
    "Fetch 4.0.3 System 0x910 Expires 12/16/2003 TR
    Connecting to 127.0.0.1 port 21 (12/3/03 6:21:45 PM)"

    I'm lost.

When you set up the tunnel, what port are you choosing for the local end (the remote end should be 21)?

Has this worked for you before?

    Thanks,

Used port 22 per U. AZ. instructions.

They suggested a Fetch directory of 'public_html' which didn't work. I tried a blank directory which also didn't work. I got the actual server directory from from my provider and that didn't work.

No, I've not been able to get anything beyond the error message.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Whatever port you choose as the local end of your tunnel is the port you have to tell Fetch to connect to. So if you are using port 22 (I'd actually recommend using something higher, like 5000) then you have to put "22" in the "Non-standard port number" field of Fech's New Connection window.

    Thanks,
