  I have been using Fetch for a while after having some issues with my previous ftp software. However, I frequently have problems with uploading whereby I can't connect to a particular folder or set of folders getting the message ' Fetch could not open folder because the FTP server says that the requested item was not a folder or could not be accessed'. This problem does not last forever and when I revert to my old ftp software I can always connect to the requested folder. I am finding this really infuriating and wondered if anyone can help ?

  Hi,

  There are several things that could cause this and it's hard to say exactly what the possible solutions would be without more information.

  So the next time this happens, could you please do the following? It will help us diagnose the problem.

  After you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message?

  We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.
