I am not able to connect to anything using Fetch or any other FTP software. (I would prefer to use Fetch) I am using a Arescom DSL modem. According to MSN this modem has port 21 closed (which is used for FTP). I have tried checking the Use passive mode transfers and have tried unchecking the Use Internet Config box. Still no luck. I have also tried putting 23 in the port box. What do I need to do to make this work? Thanks in advance.

Try connecting to the "Fetch Softworks" shortcut, and then post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window. I can understand an ISP blocking incoming port 21 traffic but it would be very strange for them to block outbound traffic.

    Thanks,

It looks like everything is working. Are some connections not working?

Yes, some connections work and some do not. Is there a way to configure this so that all connections work for me?

I don't know what is going wrong with some connections. To figure that out I need to see transcripts from connections that did not work.
