Overwriting file names for downloads in Fetch 4.01 (2 posts)

    Hello. I'm trying to assist a client with v. 4.01 and she concerned that no dialog box appears when she downloads a duplicate filename. She says she has seen one before and the box to overwrite in the preferences in not checked.

    Any suggestions??

    In that case Fetch will give the file a different name (rather than overwrite the older file). In 4.0.3 Fetch is careful to preserve the file name suffix, if any. There is not an option to have Fetch ask whether the file should be overwritten.
