I'm new at FTP and I was wondering why Fetch gives me the alert "Error on password, authentication failed, sorry" when my host, user ID and password are all correct. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it!

That message is coming from the server, so the question is why the server is not accepting the user id and password. There might be clues in the Fetch Transcript; could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window (choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu to open it) after you see the error?

    Thanks,

Thanks so much for a quick answer! Here's what it said in the transcript window:

The server ftp.from-the-inside.org is saying that's the wrong password for the nutmeg account. So you'll need to contact the server administrator to find out why its responding that way.

    Thanks,
