Whenever I hook up to my server to upload my data, Fetch says that my password is being sent in the clear. Can I do something about that? It seems the only choices I have now are to just stop....

    Hi,

You can turn off that warning in the Security section of Preferences.

    Thanks,

Can I take it to understand that turning off the warning still sends the password in the clear, is that correct?

Yes, that's correct. You could ask your hosting provider whether they support SFTP or FTP with TLS/SSL, which are two alternatives that encrypt passwords. Unfortunately, most providers don't offer that support.
