The file a .zip appears to have completed downloading 108.6 MB when the status bar says "stalled". This has happened two times---what's going on? I am on a Mac OS 10.4.

    Hi,

Which version of Fetch are you using?

If you are using Fetch 5 or later, please try the following:

    * Make sure you are using the latest version of Fetch, version 5.2. (You can find the version by choosing About Fetch from the Fetch menu.) If not, please update to Fetch 5.2 - you can get it by choosing Check for Update from the Fetch menu.

    * Try turning off the automatic decoding of zip files and see if that makes a difference. See the Decoding files automatically topic in Fetch Help (or click the link here) for instructions on how to do this.

If neither of these helps, or if you are using Fetch 4, please let us know and we can try some other things.

    Thanks,

    Hi Scott,

The file finally downloaded last night after several tries. I had prior to that accessed Remote>Get info so automatic decoding was enabled for zip files. Still don't know why the download got hung up, but the good thing is it finally worked! I have per your suggestion today updated from Fetch 5.1 to 5.2.

Thanks so much for your help,
    Jackie
