II am trying to upload about 180 images in automatic mode, the process stops after uploading 15-20 or 30 images, it varies every time I try.
This is while the doggy keeps moving but no process that I can see, eventually I receive the server side error.
I have used both passive and port mode. And the server is UNIX based.

Any one knows what is wrong with what I’m doing.

    Thanks
    Ali

Could you post the last screen-full or so of the "Fetch Transcript" window (it's listed in the Window menu) when you see this problem?

Unfortunately uploading to some servers is not as reliable as we'd like, with problems that only show up when you try to transfer a lot of files. One alternative is to use the Mirror Folder command; that way when the transfer fails you can run it again, picking up where you left off. We are exploring other possible solutions for future releases.

    Thanks,

Could you send an email message to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com if you'd like to try a test version of Fetch that may (or may not) do better?

    Thanks,

    MACB ENABLE
    500 MACB not understood.

don't u think this where the problem comes from, how can i disable mac binary (MACB) because i think this is what the server does not recognize and therefore it eventually gets disconnected.

No, I don't think the MACB command is at fault (servers are supposed to ignore commands they don't recognize, and virtually all of them do). But if you want you can choose "Don't send MACB" from the Obscure Options pop-up menu in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,
