Putting a file (2 posts)

    I want to put a simple small file on my brandnew website. I *think* I've entered the hostname, account name and password correctly in the New Connection dialog (I am working on a G3 with OS 10.2.8 and a DSL connection) but before I can proceed to the step of selecting the file I want to send, I get the error message: "Error: the file transfer server has shut down".

    Could you try again, dismiss that error message when it appears, then click Cancel in the New Connection dialog, and then choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents? That should give me an idea of what is happening.
