I'm not a IT person at all. Trying to upload .mov of my film to a festival ftp. After two days (!) of the 4/5 estimated time frame, it disconnected! There is a deadline. I didn't realize it would take so long. The fetch help doesn't help me. I loath to start all over again. I don't know how to 'open a connection...' again to find resume. Help! Now, please...

    Hi,

To resume the upload, you would connect to the festival ftp server the same way that you did before. Then, you would click the Put button to upload the .mov file, just as you did before. The only difference is that in the Put file dialog, where it says "If a file already exists:", you would change the menu from "Replace existing file" to "Resume upload of file".

Let me know if that does not work.

    Thanks,

Well I didn't manage to connect to the festival ftp server, but I accessed the 'put' icon and in dialog box selected 'existing file', 'resume' etc. and it seems to have resumed. Will know in a few days if successful! Thank you.
