Have two machines side by side both Macs one running 10.3.2 (Sam) and the other 10.2.8 OS (Calvin).

Both use the same Airport connection, both have the same password access and user, and are connecting to the same server. So all the issues covered in your FAQs are answered.

Calvin fetch works great no problems connects dog does not go for a marathon run. downloads and uploads great!

Sam sometimes works but if the dog starts the long run nothing short of restarting the server in the US, which is not a good solution since I am in Europe will stop the problem.

Restarting Sam even will not stop the problem. The dog on connecting to the server just runs and runs.

Is this an OS problem or what? How do I begin to trouble shoot this?

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window from Sam after you see the problem? It might be useful to compare that to a successful transcript from Calvin.

    Thanks,

I will through out today keep the log of transcripts. So far since restarting the server yesterday Clavin is working great.

I never noticed that window before.
    Thanks
