I have turned the above on - but it makes no difference to the viewing of some files. Client uploaded a .sit file but still can't see it.

Does choosing "Refresh File List" from the Directories menu make a difference?

    Thanks,

Yes that did work, why doesn't the list refresh when you log on & off.

Fetch saves file list contents to save time the next time you visit a server folder. When Fetch is using a saved file list it displayes "As of ..." by the file list, to let you know when the file list was retrieved. If you think the file list might have changed since then you can refresh the file list.

If you don't want Fetch to used saved file lists check the "Ignore file list cache" checkbox in the Misc section of Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,
